Shaheen Lakhani, is a photographer and visual artist based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She observes her surroundings through quiet attention to the everyday. Captivated by subtle shifts in light, gesture, rhythm and form, her work explores the tracing of connection; a still, unbounded presence, and the intimacy of shared experience. She completed a one-year photography program (2024) in New York City following a career of many years working as a clinical psychologist.

Her images have been selected for the 2024 and 2025 Annual Winter Solstice Members Exhibitions at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Massachusetts; for the 2024 LensCulture Emerging Talent Competition Gallery Editors’ Picks and by Juror Karen Haas, the Lane Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for the Summer 2025 The Curated Fridge group exhibition in Massachusetts.
